Jeopardy is one of the most iconic game shows in American TV history.
Not only has it been running for 60 years, but it is a part of the cultural zeitgeist in the United States.
With the emergence of social media, game shows like Jeopardy get even more air time, as videos tend to surface of the biggest contestant errors.
This was put on full display after a recent sports-themed category, as all three contestants had no clue who Russell Westbrook was.
While Ken Jennings was reading the clue about Westbrook, Jeopardy also flashed an image of Westbrook.
One contestant answered with, “Who is Durant?” which was not the right answer.
Oh no

This is not the first time Jeopardy contestants have been ridiculed online for their lack of sports knowledge.
After seeing this clip, many sports fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief.
She heard triple double and said Kevin Durant

The knowledge of ball is not with this one

I wish she said “what is Westbrick”

As demonstrated by the fan reactions above, it is evident that this answer was a no-brainer for even the most casual of sports fans.
However, as it has been made clear in recent years, Jeopardy contestants know a lot about American history, literature, and geography, but as a whole, their sports knowledge seems to be lacking.
Even after the passing of Alex Trebek, Jeopardy is still running strong to this day.
This show continues to showcase some of the smartest people in the world, who get an opportunity to showcase their mental prowess.
After seeing yet another clip of contestants going viral on social media, will upcoming participants try to become more versed in this area?
