The NBA is where amazing happens, which is why we shouldn’t be surprised to see that, even after all these years, we’re still witnessing history.
Throughout the decades, most teams have had their ups and downs, with legendary squads that led them to the playoffs and others… not so much.
However, regardless of how good most teams in California have been for the better part of their history, it seems like they haven’t all been good at the same time.
So, with the Los Angeles Lakers clinching the seventh seed in the Western Conference with that win in the Play-in Tournament, this will be the very first time that all four teams from California make the playoffs in the same season.

and the team who used to have the longest playoffs drought has the highest seed among the four of them, which includes two former champions at that! wow #NBAPlayOffs

The Lakers will now have to go against the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies for a chance to keep their championship hopes alive, which will be easier said than done after such a complicated season.
The Los Angeles Clippers will have arguably the toughest matchup of all, as they’ll have to travel to the desert for a date with the Phoenix Suns, all while Paul George keeps nursing an injury.
However, most eyes of California fans will be set on the matchup between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, the ultimate battle for Northern California.
It’s a good time to be a hoops fan in the Golden State, and all four teams could have a legit shot at winning the ring if they get out of these difficult first-round matchups alive.
