James Harden’s saga with the Philadelphia 76ers was one of the biggest stories of the NBA offseason.
He was reportedly unhappy with Daryl Morey, the 76ers’ president of basketball operations.
As a result of his unhappiness, Harden spent time away from team facilities, seemingly refusing to play for Morey ever again.
While it seemed like the team was going to keep Harden around, it appears they have changed their tune.
According to Shams Charania, Harden has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.

This was a move that was announced late in the night, which seems to be a growing trend with player contracts.

The initial fan response has been split thus far.
Some fans are under the impression that the 76ers got the short end of the stick, having to send away both Harden and PJ Tucker.
Others have called this an equal deal on both sides, considering Harden and Tucker are both older players with limited time left in the league.
While fans have responded in their own, unique ways, ultimately, this seems to be a good situation for Harden.
He was unhappy in Philadelphia, and it didn’t appear that he was going to play a game for them anytime soon.
Harden will get another chance to play this season with the Clippers, joining Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George.
