Although the Charlotte Hornets lost yet again in their Tuesday night Summer League game, they at least had something to be happy about.
Rookie Brandon Miller had his best game yet, scoring 26 points and 6 assists and going 8-of-15 from the field for the night.
Tuesday night’s showing was an overall improvement in pretty much every aspect of Miller’s game and it had fans very happy.

Some people came right out and called Miller a “baller”, saying he really is worthy of the high draft pick he earned last month.

Other people took issue with such praise for a performance they deemed just okay.
Many fans pointed out that although Miller did well, the Hornets still lost yet again.
So what happens in the regular season when he continues to play great basketball and Charlotte is still losing?

The praise, followed by days of criticism about Miller’s game, left some fans online confused.
They were asking: Is Miller a bust or a star?
The analysts need to make up their minds, these fans are saying.

Many people laughed at the fact that both Victor Wembanyama and Miller received a lot of nit-picking after the start of the Summer League only to redeem themselves and play wonderfully following that.
“It’s almost as if we should never overanalyze summer league,” one fan said.
Wow look at that wemby and brandon miller might be able to play some basketball after all. Its almost as if we should never overanalyze summer league

Miller is showing the sort of growth that fans hoped to see after the start of Summer League.
He will now have a couple more months to rest, practice, train, and get even better with his team.
If he is putting up close to 30 points every night when the regular season arrives, fans of the Charlotte Hornets will be very pleased with their team’s choice in the draft.
