The Denver Broncos are making their preseason debut today and hoping to start fresh after enduring a rough 8-9 season last year that somehow felt much worse than the record suggests given the team’s instability at the quarterback position.
Not only does the team have new quarterbacks this year, but it also has new uniforms for the first time in many years.
Broncos beat reporter Zac Stevens shared a clip on X of the team running out of the tunnel for its matchup with the Indianapolis Colts wearing their new white uniforms for the first time.

As with any new uniform debut, the fans had a lot to say, and the overwhelming reaction appears to be mixed.

The team has had the same primary uniform design since 1997 and the same primary colors for well over a decade as well, so it was time for an update.
As with most new uniforms, it will likely take some time for many fans to warm up to the change since NFL franchises are so deeply rooted in their history and don’t change uniforms too often.
The Houston Texans also changed uniforms this season for the first time in franchise history, opting to go a similar path to the Broncos and modernizing an already sleek, classic look.
The Broncos needed to do anything to wipe the slate clean after the debacle that was the Russell Wilson era, and with Bo Nix coming in as the rookie No. 12 pick at quarterback, Broncos fans are hoping this is a better and more fashionable season than the team has had in a while as it looks to end an eight-year playoff drought.
