Friday night was a wild one for NBA fans as the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets faced off against each other in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
It was a battle of two of the best teams in the league and, in the end, the Suns were triumphant.
In a game with multiple amazing performances, Devin Booker of the Suns had perhaps the most incredible.
He became the second player in league history with 45+ points on 80% shooting in a playoff game.
The only other player to achieve this was Dirk Nowitzki in a 2011 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Booker was lights-out all night long and delivered one of the best performances of his career and easily one of the best of the current playoff series.
Fans online took note.
Many people referred to him as the best shooting guard in the league right now.

Others took a moment to commemorate the wonderful career of Nowitzki, who is still considered one of the best power forwards ever.

Some people were stunned by the fact that Booker scored his 47 points with so few free throws.
While Nowitzki achieved his sum with 24 of them, Booker only had two free throws for the whole night on Friday.
You should mention Dirk took 24 FTs to get there. Book hit 45 with 0. Ended with 2 FTs and 47 pts.

And other people hopped online to remind fans that Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets also had a huge showing on Friday night, becoming the first player in history to score 30-15-15 in a playoff game.

Booker’s miraculous showing gave the Suns life again.
The series is now 2-1 with the next game scheduled to be in Phoenix as well.
If Booker can perform like this again – or even come close – his team might tie the series and bring them one step closer to the Western Conference Finals.
