Draymond Green isn’t back with his Golden State Warriors yet but he’s already creating headlines again.
Green recently revealed that he thought about retiring during his latest suspension.
The four-time champion said that he told NBA Commissioner Adam Silver that he was going to hang up his jersey and step away from the league but Silver was able to convince him to stay.
“I told him, ‘Adam this is too much for me. … This is too much. It’s all becoming too much for me — and I’m going to retire.’ And Adam said, ‘You’re making a very rash decision and I won’t let you do that,’” Green said.
After this revelation, NBA fans went online to state their opinions about Green and any possible retirement.
The tweets about Green have made it very clear that many people are still bothered by Green.

Many people said that Green was just deflecting instead of taking full responsibility for the actions that led to his suspension.
Others didn’t understand what was “too much” for Green, who makes millions a year to play basketball.
And many others were shocked to see Green seemingly play the victim after the things he did.
NBA fans have always had strong opinions about Green and it is clear that’s still the case.
Even after his suspension and the work he is doing on himself, Green will remain a controversial figure.
He may have changed but peoples’ views about him have not.
