After the Arizona Cardinals’ tumultuous season in 2022, the organization responded by firing head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
This firing came just one year after signing a six-year contract extension with the Cardinals.
After Kingsbury was let go, fans around the league were left to wonder what his next coaching destination would be, if any.
It was recently announced that Kingsbury will join the USC football staff to help with the quarterbacks, per Tom Pelissero.

As Pelissero indicates, Kingsbury has an opportunity to work with Caleb Williams, who is projected to be the number one overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Kingsbury has a storied history of coaching quarterbacks, as this fan points out.
While he was the head coach at Texas Tech, Kingsbury was instrumental in the development of Patrick Mahomes and was able to work with Kyler Murray in Arizona as well.

Kingsbury and his USC counterpart, Lincoln Riley, have both been touted as great collegiate coaches.
Despite optimism from some fans, others were less confident about Kingsbury’s ability to succeed at USC.
