The Memphis Grizzlies didn’t have a good game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
However, their superstar tried to will them to a big win, although his heroics weren’t enough.
Ja Morant dropped 45 points on the Los Angeles Lakers, including 22 straight points in the fourth quarter.
This is already impressive for anybody, but Morant played this game with a hand injury.

Morant left everything out there trying to get his team back to the game, but the Lakers never lost their advantage.
If the Grizzlies want to win this series, they will need more from the rest of their players.
There’s only so much that Morant can do, and if his teammates don’t show up, the Lakers will have an easy path to winning this series.
This marked the third 45+ point game in Ja Morant’s career, becoming the only Grizzlies player to do this.

Despite the controversies, Morant is definitely one of the future faces of the league.
The Grizzlies have a well-rounded team, but Morant is the one that stands out the most and without him, their level decreases a lot.
If he goes off once again, the Grizzlies might go back home with the chance to take a 3-2 lead.
