Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson had been solid throughout the course of the FIBA Basketball World Cup, but that hadn’t been enough.
Clarkson — who plays for the Philippines — hadn’t been able to lead his team to a win during the competition.
But he didn’t want to leave the nation winless and was clearly determined to carry his team to victory in their matchup.
Clarkson erupted for a whopping 34 points in 11-of-18 from the floor, adding five three-pointers on 50% from beyond the arc, two boards, three assists, and one steal in 33 minutes.
He was at his best during an incredible stretch, scoring 20 points in less than four minutes, leaving the fans all over the world in awe.

Clarkson has been one of the best backup guards in the league for a while now.
He’s an instant offensive spark off the bench and a proven veteran who’s shown that he’s capable of putting up big numbers and getting hot in the blink of an eye.
However, regardless of his fame as a streaky shooter and explosive scorer, this was perhaps the most impressive stretch of his entire career.
Clarkson’s Philippines team failed to make it to the next round, but at least they managed to get a win in front of their home crowd.
As for Clarkson, the Utah Jazz have made it loud and clear that he’s not available for trade despite all speculation, signing him to a contract extension earlier in the year.
