The Phoenix Suns faced off against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night and Kevin Durant showed up to play.
It was Durant’s fifth game since being traded to his new team – and missing a slew of games because of injuries.
It was also his most dominant performance in a Suns jersey.
For the night, Durant posted 30 points on a 73% field goal percentage and 66% from the three-point line.
As noted by Hoop Central, the former MVP is now 5-0 with the Suns.

As expected, this win garnered a big response online Friday.
While most of the reactions were positive and joyful for Durant, who looked healthy and tuned in again, some of them were rather sour since the Suns beat a Nuggets team without Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and others.
One fan touched upon how great Durant is when he is fully healthy and rested.
“The game is so easy for him when he’s healthy. So incredibly efficient,” one said.

Other people simply called Durant the “best player in the world.”

Then there were some who didn’t feel like the victory was such a big deal.
“Would’ve been a blowout if KCP Jokic and Murray was playing let’s be real,” one Nuggets fan said.

Most people were just really excited to see Durant finally playing a full game with his new team.
These people are elated for what’s to come.
“Can’t wait for the playoffs man,” one fan said.
That is a sentiment that many others share.

The Suns have five more games before the playoffs begin.
Now that it seems as if Durant’s injury troubles are really behind him, it’s time for him to show Phoenix fans what he’s truly capable of as the postseason starts.
