The Los Angeles Lakers are the biggest brand in the NBA.
Whenever one of their players breaks out, they seem to get more publicity than other teams.
That is exactly what has happened with Austin Reaves.
Over the past few weeks, Reaves has played the best basketball of his career.
That has led to him getting his signature shoe.
According to Nick DePaula, Reaves will be getting his first shoe later this summer.

One reason Reaves is set to receive a signature shoe is because of the brand he signed with.
He signed a deal with a Chinese brand called Rigorer, and they will be giving Reaves his first shoe.
Also, Reaves is the first player in the NBA to sign with this brand.
Some fans are confused as to why Reaves would get a signature shoe.

But some fans are excited to get their hands on a pair of Reaves’ new shoes.

There is a good chance that if Reaves was not on the Lakers that he would not have had this opportunity.
Playing in LA brings opportunities to players that they would not have had in other places.

Some fans are interested in what the prices will look like for this shoe.
Since this is a new brand, there is no way of knowing how much they will charge fans.

But, you can assume they will be affordable for most fans just to help get the shoe some publicity.
Reaves is having a career year for the Lakers and has played his way into his first signature shoe.
