The Los Angeles Lakers are having a busy offseason by signing new players and retaining some that helped them reach the Western Conference Finals.
They know they have a big opportunity to improve last season’s performance and quickly got to work this offseason.
In the first hours of the 2023 free agency, the Lakers have agreed to seven deals, keeping three key pieces and signing four new players.
The roster looks very good right now, even more so after they re-signed Austin Reaves to a new deal.

Rob Pelinka has done a terrific job with this team and deserves much of the praise that he is getting.
Things started coming together last year at the trade deadline for the Lakers after a rough start to the season.
Following a couple of years of no success, the Lakers will try again next season to add another trophy to their case.
The season is still far away but the Lakers are already looking like a candidate that could make some noise in the Western Conference.
