Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks looks ready to work hard.
The sensational guard, who is preparing to lead his Slovenian national team in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, has been getting a lot of attention lately.
That is because Doncic is looking very slim and healthy in photos that have gone viral online.
The FIBA Twitter account recently posted these pictures of Doncic with the caption “Luka is back.”
And fans couldn’t agree more.

Response to these photos was very positive, with nearly all of the tweets about them praising Doncic’s physique.

Some went as far as to say that the “league is done for” because of how healthy and in shape Doncic appears to be.

Why are these pictures of Doncic receiving such recognization?
It’s mostly because Doncic has a nasty habit of entering the new season looking a little out of shape.
Like many people, he sometimes packs on a few pounds while on vacation and occasionally has issues shedding them.
That clearly isn’t the case this year.
Thanks to the FIBA World Cup, Doncic is primed and ready for action.
That means he will still be looking this way when the new NBA season kicks off in the fall.
All of this is obviously great news for the Mavericks, who need to start the year on a positive note after such a disastrous end to last season.
The team usually rises or falls based on how well Doncic is doing so the fact that he is in phenomenal shape right now is very promising for Dallas.
