Fans React To NBA Vote On Most Overrated Player

The Athletic published an anonymous NBA poll that asked players throughout the league some hard-hitting questions.

Most importantly, the poll asked who was the greatest basketball player of all time.

It also asked who is the best defender, who is the worst referee, and who is the most overrated player.

Obviously, The Athletic was looking to stir up some trouble.

The results of this poll provided some surprising – and unsurprising – answers.

For example, sitting just behind “other” with 31.5%, Trae Young was voted the most overrated player in the league.

He was ahead of others like Julius Randle, Pascal Siakam, and Jimmy Butler.

Meanwhile, Michael Jordan is considered the best player of all time, ahead of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Bill Russell, and Tracy McGrady.

Scott Foster is the ref who players dislike the most and Jrue Holiday is the defender most feared.

This poll achieved its goal: people were talking about it a lot on Tuesday morning.

Fans had many opinions about the views of players in the league.

“They do not like Trae Young,” one fan said, adding, “the hate for Scott Foster is real.”

Some people were wondering how Foster still had his job as a ref since both players and fans disliked his work so much.

Of course, the league has the final say on his position.

They clearly think he is doing a good job.

There were quite a few fans scratching their heads about how McGrady made the list of the best basketball players ever.

He was never a bad athlete – far from it – but many were still shocked to see him ranked so high.
