Stephen Curry is currently in the midst of trying to push his team into the NBA Finals yet again.

That would be a huge accomplishment considering the season that his Golden State Warriors have had.

But it also wouldn’t be too surprising.

That’s because Curry has proven himself to be one of the best, smartest, and most talented basketball players in the NBA.

He is so good, in fact, that he is getting a documentary made about him, his rise to fame, and his impact on the league.

Apple is developing a new documentary titled “Stephen Curry: Underrated.”

According to Front Office Sports, the doc will be about “Curry’s rise from an undersized player at Davidson to a 4x NBA champion.”

The documentary, which is set to premiere in July, already has a bunch of people vowing to watch – or skip – it.

Many people took umbrage with the title of the film.

They feel it misrepresents Curry’s challenges and his career.

“His dad was an NBA player and he was the 7th overall pick….ya underrated seems like a good title,” one user sarcastically said.

Others believe that Curry really was underrated when he entered the NBA.

Back then, most people thought there would be no place for a smaller, skinnier kid who was mostly focused on posting big three-pointers.

That’s what up. He definitely was underrated when he came into the league

Other people used the announcement of this film as an opportunity to rub salt in Curry’s wound from one particularly painful Finals loss.

“Should call it blew 3-1.”

Should call it blew 3-1

Finally, one user had a different idea for a title: “The greatest shooter ever.”

The greatest shooter ever woulda had more gravitas

Documentaries about NBA stars have become more and more popular over the last few years.

“The Last Dance” about Michael Jordan sits above them all and is considered a legitimate classic by most.

Will Curry’s documentary have the sort of impact as that one?
