The NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the Baltimore Ravens still do not have their franchise quarterback under contract.
The Ravens made a bold decision by slapping the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson.
He is now free to negotiate a contract with opposing teams.
Also, Jackson has demanded a trade from the Ravens.
It appears that their relationship has been torn through the contract negotiations.
Man I genuinely think Lamar is leaving Baltimore crazy to think but it makes sense with his crazy contract demands https://t.co/4OQRZ5mEDO

If the Ravens trade Jackson, they will want the draft picks for this upcoming draft.
So you would think that something will need to get done over the next few weeks.
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta sat down for his pre-draft press conference but was immediately asked about Jackson’s situation.
According to Ari Meirov, DeCosta declined to answer any questions on Jackson.
#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta is doing his pre-draft press conference right now. When asked about Lamar Jackson’s public trade request, he declines to get into details, saying he wants to stick to draft questions only.

It is no surprise that DeCosta avoided all the questions about his franchise quarterback.
The last thing he needs is news about Jackson being leaked to the media.
If the Ravens decide to move on from Jackson, they will have to look for a new quarterback in the draft.
Ravens are plum dumb! Losing an MVP and generational talent cause they don’t wanna change with the times.

Trading Jackson to one of the teams in the top 10 would be ideal for Baltimore.
The former MVP is well worth a top-10 pick and that would set the Ravens up nicely to land a new quarterback.
We want Anthony Richardson

Many people think Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson has elite potential.
But, he is a raw prospect that will need time to develop.
The Ravens have a lot of questions that need to be answered before draft day.
