The Miami Heat managed to get Game 1 from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Notably, Mike Budenholzer’s team wasn’t exactly at full strength, as Giannis Antetokounmpo had to leave early in the first half with a lower-back contusion.

Giannis collided with Kevin Love, who took the charge and unintentionally sent him to the floor.

The Greek Freak was visually disgruntled and in pain, and he went to the locker room nearly right away.

Giannis came back to the bench but immediately had to go back to the locker room and was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Then, later in the game, and with the Heat up by double digits, Tyler Herro suffered a broken hand, so he was also obviously ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Notably, that led Hall of Famer Reggie Miller to say one of the most questionable things he’s ever said during a broadcast, stating that losing Tyler Herro was a bigger loss to the Miami Heat than Giannis Antetokounmpo was to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Needless to say, those comments fueled countless jokes, mockery, and criticism.

No disrespect to Herro whatsoever, but we’re talking about a perennial MVP and DPOY candidate, as opposed to a second or third scoring option.

Maybe what Miller meant is that the Bucks are a deeper team and could somewhat make up for Giannis’ loss with Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton, and it just didn’t come out well.
