The NBA playoffs are set to begin this weekend and there are many great first-round matchups.
One of the most highly-anticipated matchups features the Los Angeles Clippers taking on the Phoenix Suns.
Both of those teams have championship aspirations and the winner of that series could represent the West.
One of the fun individual matchups in this series is Russell Westbrook vs. Kevin Durant.
The two former teammates had plenty of beef in the past, especially once Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But, it appears there is no longer any bad blood from Westbrook to Durant.
According to NBA Central, Russ said he has “nothing but respect” for Durant.
“There’s no beef. I got nothing but respect for him and things he’s done. There’s no beef at all.”

Many fans enjoyed the back-and-forth between these two in years past.
But there are not expected to be any issues in this series.
We love to see it

These two teams should give us a great series, especially if Paul George can return for the Clippers at some point.
It should not surprise anyone if it goes six or seven games.
this series will be one of the best no doubt

Westbrook is averaging 21/6/9 in this series and because the Suns have no depth, it will go to 6-7 games.

The depth of the Clippers could make all the difference in the series.
Phoenix is a top-heavy team led by the star power of Durant, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton.
It will be interesting how they can hold up knowing they will not get much from their bench.
For the Clippers to win, they need Westbrook to be at his best.
russ plays his best against KD so expect prime russell westbrook this playoffs

It will certainly be interesting to see how this series plays out.
