Shannon Sharpe is not only one of the top NBA commentators in the world, he’s also a presence at certain games.
Sharpe is especially known for his spot courtside during Los Angeles Lakers games.
Since the Lakers are now officially in the playoffs, many expect him to appear during each game of the opening round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
But Sharpe said that isn’t possible due to excessive ticket prices.
On Twitter, one fan said “WE NEED UNC COURTSIDE AT EVERY GAME,” with a picture of Sharpe during the last intense, high-stakes game between the Lakers and Grizzlies.
Sharpe responded with, “Someone needs to start Unc a gofundme acc. Those tix prices are cray cray.”

If Sharpe opens up his Twitter replies today, he will see plenty of fans who took this comment as an opportunity to make digs and poke fun at him.
He definitely won’t see any donations for the cause.

There were some people who actually gave reasonable advice, telling him to make a deal with a clothing company to earn free tickets.
Get a fashion brand to buy the tickets and wear whatever they tell you to. Great marketing for them and a lot cheaper than other advertising options

Then there were some who said his focus shouldn’t be on fashion.
If he spent less money on his clothes then he could afford courtside seats, said some.

Even if he isn’t there, Sharpe will definitely be paying close attention to the games between the Lakers and Grizzlies.
The last time Sharpe was at a game between these two teams, things got very heated, and plenty of headlines were made.
If he does show up in the opening round, you can bet that Sharpe will be on his best behavior.
