As per usual, Team USA features some of the biggest talents in the NBA.
However, the team they chose for the FIBA World Cup was very special, as it features nothing but young players trying to make a name for themselves in the league and become the stars of the future.
A transition from the previous era was much needed at this point, but some weren’t pleased with Steve Kerr’s squad.
Even so, Team USA has now made it two wins in as many matchups in the World Cup, dominating both New Zealand and Greece.
That’s why several fans took to Twitter to express their support for this young squad, as well as to congratulate Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves for his great play.

Team USA is always expected to dominate and win the gold medal, but it might not be as easy this time.
Even though we’re talking about young NBA stars and some guys who could be the future faces of the league, they still need to go against some very solid teams with plenty of experience at the FIBA level.
Making the transition to FIBA basketball is never easy, and some guys like Brandon Ingram and Jaren Jackson Jr. seem to be struggling in that regard.
Still, they have one game left in the group stage to turn things around now that they’ve moved onto the next round, so they won’t have any sort of pressure and could just let the game come to them by being more loose and relaxed out there.
