The Tennessee Titans seem to be in the quarterback market for this NFL Draft.

The Titans seem ready to move on from Ryan Tannehill and find their future franchise quarterback.

Last season, the Titans drafted Malik Willis in the third round, and he seemed like a potential long-term answer.

But, after seeing Willis play last season, the Titans do not feel great about his long-term ability.

According to Peter King, via Dov Kleiman, the Titans have “lost faith” in Willis after one year.

Update: The #Titans have apparently ‘lost faith’ in QB Malik Willis, according to @peter_king

While Willis did not look good in the games he played last season, it is still hard to believe they would give up on him this soon.

Quarterbacks get no time to develop these days lol

The former Liberty quarterback was known for his rushing ability coming out of college, and he would have to develop into a passer.

I’m actually very surprised they’d lose faith that fast. Got him way later in the draft than the mocks had him going top 10 and let’s not forget he played at Liberty. We all knew he’d need some time. Let him still learn behind Tannehill another year

He did not get much time to develop last year as he was thrown into the fire.

NFL really is a tough world. Produce instantly or step aside.

They never gave Willis a chance to develop. They threw him to the wolves and expected him to instantly win.

Willis had to start three games last season and completed 50.8% of his passes in those games.

It would have been much better for him had he been given the whole year to sit and learn.

But, the Titans seem poised to add another quarterback to their roster during the NFL Draft.

They could even select one as high as 11th overall.

It’s a shame someone would leak this from the org. Regardless of trade value, the kid deserves a chance to compete.

If they’re not interested, they should look to move him without diminishing his value.

Keep an eye on the Titans during the draft, because if they decide to draft a quarterback, you can assume Willis will be gone.
