The Los Angeles Lakers made a rather bold decision when they fired Frank Vogel.

He had clearly lost his locker room, but he had won an NBA championship not so long before that.

To make things even more curious, they decided to roll with a first-year coach in Darvin Ham.

Ham wasn’t exactly impressive in his first year in charge of the team, but they did manage to reach the Western Conference Finals after revamping the roster at the trade deadline, so he earned the right to stay for another season.

Fast forward to today, and the second-year coach has been exposed more often than not.

That’s why it wasn’t surprising to see a report by The Athletic stating that there’s a growing disconnect between the locker room and the coach.

Needless to say, the fans took to Twitter to talk about how this has become a trend throughout the course of LeBron James’ career.

Breaking news for the 21st time in Lebrons career he will be taking over at head coach

Narrator: LeBron is looking for a fall guy to blame the failure of his team that stills terrible, even though AD is playing like a superstar and Reaves has been great too, especially lately. So LeBron and Klutch leak this to Shams. Not that Ham is a good coach he’s definitely not

He’s going to have a meeting in Lebron’s office here soon

LeBron must not like him anymore

James and his coaches have always gotten into a power struggle of some sort.

Coaches often have their hands tied when LeBron is on the team.

At the end of the day, Ham might not be suited for the job, but it would be hard to find a good replacement at this point in the season.
