Before the 2023-24 NBA season started, many praised the Los Angeles Lakers for doing an excellent job in the offseason to bolster the roster.
However, with almost half of the regular season played, it has become abundantly clear to most fans that as good as the Lakers’ roster may seem, it’s not going to play well under the coaching of Darvin Ham.
As a result, many are urging the Purple and Gold to get rid of Ham when there is still time to turn the season around.
Previously, it was only NBA fans who were making this request, but as per NBA insider Jake Fischer, several agents of Lakers players are expressing frustration to the team’s front office about not getting the right opportunities via NBACentral on Twitter.

There is too much drama going on with the Lakers. This won’t result in a championship regardless. BIG CHANGES are needed at this point.

Most fans assumed that if this report is true, it means that Darvin Ham’s days as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers are almost over.
The Lakers are currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference with an underwhelming record of 17-19.
Moreover, with the organization all set to face off against the Los Angeles Clippers in their next game, things aren’t looking bright for the Purple and Gold.
Considering the Lakers’ recent play, the Clippers are easily the favorites to win the game and hand the Lakers their 20th defeat of the season.
After all, the Clippers are currently the fourth seed in the West with a terrific 22-12 record.
