The Miami Heat won’t have the opportunity to live for another day if they don’t get the job done tonight.
Ball Arena will be rocking ahead of Game 5 as the Denver Nuggets look to close them out and win the Larry O’Brien trophy for the very first time in franchise history.
Notably, the Heat will have a top-of-the-line reinforcement available, as Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news that Tyler Herro is looking forward to suiting up after finally recovering from the fractured hand he suffered in the first game of the playoffs.
Needless to say, that was a bit of a beacon of hope for Heats fans and Nuggets haters, although some still believe it won’t be enough for them to extend the series.
All upside for Tyler. If they lose it’s not his fault they were already down 3-1…but if he plays a role in Miami coming back he’s one of the biggest playoff heroes ever lol

Returning just to go out sad when are we gonna discuss Miami being the biggest losers of the 2020s so far. 2 finals lost is a terrible look, and they don’t get enough hate for that

The Heat’s playoff run has been quite remarkable, and one of the reasons why it was so impressive is because Herro was their second-leading — and arguably best — scorer, so reaching the NBA Finals despite his lack of production was no easy task.
Herro might need some time to get his legs back under him after such a long layoff, but he should still draw plenty of defensive attention, which should obviously benefit Jimmy Butler and the rest of the Heat’s bucket-getters.
His presence will likely hurt their defense, but Erik Spoelstra and company will have to do whatever it takes to extend the series and get it back to South Beach for Game 6, and having Herro back on the court will obviously be a big boost.
