Many Twitter users took note of the special date.

The statue will get its grand reveal on 2/8/24, which means that it’ll salute both of Bryant’s jersey numbers.

But it’s also a nod to the number two, which was his daughter Gianna’s number.

So on 2/8/24… that’s dope

However, some people still can’t get over the name of the Lakers’ arena.

They will forever refer to it as the Staples Center.

No matter what the arena is named, there is no doubt that it’ll be swamped with fans, press, and many big names on February 8.

Not only will the statue be unveiled on that day but the Lakers will then take on the Denver Nuggets at home that evening.

It’ll be quite a big day for the Lakers, the Bryant family, and the millions of people who love and support both.
