For ten years, J.J. Watt gave it all on the field for the Houston Texans.
Now, it’s time they finally do right by him by inducting him into their Ring of Honor.
There was no doubt that Watt would one day end up in their Ring of Honor, granted that he was one of the greatest players in franchise history, not to mention a defensive force that ruled the league in his prime.
That’s why even non-Texans fans were glad to hear the news, giving him and the organization their flowers for finally doing this.
Well coordinated by the Texans so the whole Watt family can be in attendance

The fact that this man didn’t win MVP instead of Rodgers is a crime.

Much-deserved. No question about it.

Watt played his way into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Winner of three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, he was the most dominant defensive player in the league before all the injuries and Aaron Donald’s surge.
The Texans will honor him in their Week 4 clash vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is no coincidence.
That way, they’ll make sure that his younger brother, T.J., is also in attendance.
Also, the third brother, Derek, used to play for the Steelers and is currently a free agent, so there’s a slim chance he could also be there as a member of Mike Tomlin’s team.
Watt’s impact on and off the field will be hard to match in Houston.
Even after the injuries, he was still tied to the community, and will be a fan favorite until the end of time.
He’s a class act and one of the most beloved and respected members of the NFL scene right now, and it’s great to see that he’s finally being honored as such.
