Long before he made it to the NBA, scouts, media members, and fans showed vast concerns about Zion Williamson.
His talent and skills were never in question, but his durability was a major red flag.
Williamson was still the first-overall pick in the NBA Draft, and he’s dominated every single time he’s been on the court, but that has rarely happened.
Now, the New Orleans Pelicans will once again have to try and win without him, as he’s not going to be available for their potential play-in tournament games.
That has been a usual trend for Zion and the Pelicans now, so the fans weren’t exactly shocked to hear the news about him missing even more time.

Zion is hurt often, and he takes way more time than the average player to be back to full strength.
He’s been sidelined for three months now with a hamstring strain, and the team doesn’t want to take any risks when it comes to his health.
It’s unfortunate that such a gifted player has had his career cut short with constant injuries and ailments, but it’s not like it’s a surprise.
Zion shouldn’t be able to jump as high as he does with that frame of his; he’s just too big and too heavy, and that takes a massive toll on his body every time he lands on the floor.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to come back and play for at least a full season at some point.
But it’s starting to feel like the Pelicans might need to put their stock in someone else.
