The Atlanta Hawks currently house one of the most talented scorers in the league.
Yes, we are talking about Trae Young, who has seemingly gotten better since being drafted as the fifth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
In the 2022-23 season, Young averaged 26.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 10.2 assists in 73 games for the Hawks.
However, the Hawks were eliminated in the six games by the Boston Celtics during the 2023 playoffs.
Young has seemingly worked on his craft over the summer, and it was evident to most NBA fans during the Atlanta Hawks vs. New Orleans Pelicans preseason game.

Young looked spectacular against the Pelicans in the 110-105 victory.
The 25-year-old had 15 points and 5 assists to his name in just minutes of action.
Young looks in great shape ahead of the 2023-24 season.
If he can finally lead the Hawks to another deep playoff run, it will certainly increase his respect in the NBA community.
Young previously led the Hawks to the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals in his third season as a professional NBA player.
Sure, the Hawks were eliminated in six games by the Bucks, but Young wasn’t at fault.
He averaged 28.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game.
Fast forward to now, Young has helped the Hawks attain a perfect 3-0 record in the preseason.
While the preseason doesn’t really matter in the long run, it’s always good to enter the regular season with a couple of wins under the belt.
Can Young translate this form to the regular season and, ultimately, the playoffs? Only time will tell.
