The San Antonio Spurs recently matched up with the Golden State Warriors in the 2023-24 NBA season.
It was an amazing battle between Stephen Curry and Victor Wembanyama, as both stars did their best to lead their teams to victory.
However, after the final buzzer, it was Curry and the Dubs that registered a 118-112 win over the Spurs.
During the game, one moment caught almost every fan’s attention.
Victor Wembanyama wore the #1 jersey with his last name misspelled, which led to several NBA fans’ reactions.

Most fans joked about the mishap related to the number one overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft.
A consensus thought among the fans was that this misspelled Victor Wembanyama jersey could go for a huge amount of money in a future auction if the San Antonio Spurs power forward becomes a superstar in the NBA.
After all, it’s not every day that the last name of one of the biggest prospects in NBA history is misspelled.
Coming back to Wembanyama’s performances against the Warriors, he put up 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in 35 minutes of playing time for the Spurs.
Unfortunately, these solid numbers weren’t enough to lead the Spurs to a victory.
Following this defeat, the Spurs are now on an 11-game losing streak as they remain the last seed in the Western Conference with a 3-13 record.
Many fans had huge expectations from Victor Wembanyama’s rookie year, but so far the French phenom is unable to lead the Spurs to victories.
