The Golden State Warriors pulled off an incredible Game 7 victory in their first-round series win over the Sacramento Kings.

For a team that struggled on the road all regular season, the Warriors had no problem pulling out a victory with their season on the line.

The main reason for their success was the play of Stephen Curry.

The reigning Finals MVP scored 50 points, the most in a Game 7 in the history of the NBA.

Even after this incredible win, their path ahead does not get easier.

The Warriors are set to face off with the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.

Colin Cowherd believes that Golden State will have an easier matchup against the Lakers.

“I think it could be a 5 game series in favor of the Warriors.”

Golden State has been one of the best offensive teams in the NBA all season.

Their scoring ability will cause plenty of trouble for a Lakers team that lacks perimeter shooting.

As a Lakers fan, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I just don’t trust our lineup in these high stakes games. I trust Steph more than LeBron (38) and AD who just is too inconsistent or injured or both.

I hope I’m wrong. #NBA

Having to count on D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves as their top shooters is dangerous.

Neither has been counted on to do anything in the playoffs throughout their careers.

The X-factor for LA will be Anthony Davis.

Golden State only struggled when they played on the road and lost focus.

But the Warriors took two games in Sacramento last series, hopefully putting their road woes to bed.

Golden State has a home-court advantage in this series, which should play a major role in their success.

This will be the most highly anticipated series of the second round, as LeBron James and Stephen Curry meet again.

Lakers have a better bench and a better defense. All those curry running layups ain’t gonna work against AD. Perimeter defense might he an issue. Lakers in 6
