Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors is one of the most polarizing figures in the NBA, and many fans seem to intensely dislike him due to the antics he has gotten involved in over the years.
Some have even called him a dirty player for acts such as the one he pulled in Game 2 against the Sacramento Kings when he stomped on Domantas Sabonis.
Green was ejected and suspended as a result, but when he returned for Game 4, he wanted to come off the bench because his team played well without him in Game 3 and he didn’t want to disrupt that excellent play.
Draymond Green explains why he suggested to come off the bench in Game 4. He liked how GSW played without him in G3 and said he never wants to have a sense of “entitlement” to his starting spot. pic.twitter.com/ryjhwffBSt

No matter how much ill will some may have toward Green, one thing is true about him — he’s a team player.
He could score a lot more than he does, but he is perfectly content to instead fill up the stat sheet and focus on playing defense and being an irritant.
This fan gave him credit for sublimating a bit of himself for the good of the Warriors.
Not gonna lie, he’s super agitating to watch play— which is also part of what makes him a great player. But the objectivity enough to support this decision for what he thought would benefit the team… mad respect.

This fan feels like beneath his provocative exterior, Green is a much better human being than he seems to be.
The other side of Dray. This was mature, fair, humble, unselfish and wholesome. I bet it happens more often than we know

Green, however, can become a free agent this summer, and he reportedly wants a big payday on his next contract.
This fan said that while Green may not have a sense of entitlement over starting, he does have one when it comes to how much he gets paid.
yeah but he does feel entitled of having a big contract tho

This fan praised all the things across the board Green has done to help Golden State become the NBA’s reigning dynasty.
Draymond goes crazy and is frustrating, but he is smart and knows basketball. Insane defensive plays by him today when it mattered. I hope Steph, Klay and Dray all finish their careers with GSW. Then we can get back to the Warriors we know from 1978-2013.

With him back in action, the Warriors evened the series with Sacramento 2-2 by surviving for a 126-125 win on Sunday.
Green had 12 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 31 minutes, and thanks to his unselfishness and overall play, it is now a best-of-three matchup.
