The Carolina Panthers made waves to begin the offseason, using significant capital to get the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
After this trade, rumors and speculation spread with everyone trying to predict who the Panthers would select.
While their target is still unknown, new head coach Frank Reich has made a recent indication.
When shedding light on the team’s internal discussions, Reich said, “There is consensus, and we’re excited.”

The Panthers’ front office appears to be united about one player, which Reich is pleased with.

For several weeks, the public opinion was that the Panthers would take former Alabama QB Bryce Young with this selection.

Will Levis is a name that has surfaced as a potential option for the Panthers.
Levis dazzled throughout the pre-draft process, highlighting his accuracy and arm strength.
Several fans believe that he could be the Panthers’ target, given the recent buzz about him.
However, other fans do not buy into this theory, dictating that the Panthers will and should draft Young.

Young won the Heisman Trophy at the University of Alabama in 2021.
While many across the league have expressed concerns with Young, others believe that he is ultimately the best option in the draft.
Throughout all of the rumors and pre-draft conversations, one thing has remained certain.
The Panthers, almost assuredly, will draft a quarterback.
