The Golden State Warriors secured a big win against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.

With this win, it’s almost a given that the Dubs will avoid the play-in tournament.

Following the game, Klay Thompson had some words about a potential playoff series with the Kings.

The shooting guard says it’ll be a ‘special’ duel between his team and the inspired Kings.

Of course, Warriors fans had something to say about this, some agreeing with Klay and others giving alternatives for a playoff series.

While it would be poetic, a Suns-Warriors series will be just as poetic https://t.co/sC5TzAIAwY

After a tumultuous season full of changes and controversy, the Warriors appear to be doing better.

Steve Kerr has made it clear that they need to keep improving now that the playoffs approach.

They are getting at least a top-6 finish this season, with Klay showing flashes of his best season at times.

With one game remaining the Warriors boast a 43-38 record, ranking 5th in the West.

As of now, they would be facing the Phoenix Suns, led by Kevin Durant.

Still, Klay thinks that the matchup with the Kings would be special, although it’ll be considerably easier than going against Phoenix.

The last day of the regular season will answer all these questions, as the Dubs could end up finishing in 6th.

Thompson has played 68 games this season, averaging 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Dubs.

Andrew Wiggins will not play in the final two games of the Warriors season, per Steve Kerr.

They are getting Andrew Wiggins back after an extended absence from the team.

Many think this move can give them the edge to come out of the West.

The Dubs are still the defending champions and you could never sleep on them.
