Sometimes, players fail to establish themselves in the NBA, but they still find plenty of success somewhere else.
The FIBA World Cup and the Olympics always give us an opportunity to watch players from all over the world do their thing, proving that there are so many ways to play good basketball that we don’t usually watch in the NBA.
That’s the case with Guerschon Yabusele.
Yabusele was a fringe role player with the Boston Celtics and often infuriated his fans with his three-point shooting accuracy — or lack thereof.
However, he’s had a very solid career out of the league, and he’s been one of the best players in the Olympics, not only for France but overall.
Notably, the former Celtics player went viral for putting LeBron James, of all people, on a poster (via NBC Olympics & Paralympics Games).

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before the fans took to social media to react to the news.
Lebron gonna get Nike to delete this.

That’s the dunk of the Olympics but LeBron will be flying back home as a billionaire with 3 Gold Medals.

Yabusele has played well enough to get himself another chance to do his thing in the NBA.
He’s been a physical and stout defender, and even though he’s undersized, he’s managed to be a force on the glass as well.
Even so, he might not be interested in heading back to the U.S., considering how well he’s fared overseas and that his game might not be suited for the modern NBA.
Whatever the case, no one can take his Olympic medal away from him, and he’ll always hold bragging rights over James because of this dunk.
