The Kansas City Chiefs bounced back in Week 15 with a win over the New England Patriots, improving their record to 9-5 and strengthening their hold on the AFC West.

The Chiefs got off to a slow start offensively and the Patriots looked like they were going to upset the team for a minute before the former pulled away in the second half.

Much has been made about Kansas City’s lack of offensive weapons, though Rashee Rice continues to show that he’s worth hogging the targets in the passing game.

Rice finished the afternoon with nine catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, completely overshadowing teammates like Kadarius Toney.

Toney has been a disappointment since the team traded for him at last year’s trade deadline and he made another mistake against the Patriots as his dropped pass led to an interception.

Former Chiefs offensive lineman Mitchell Schwartz was not pleased with the play and advocated for Toney’s role to change via his personal Twitter account.

“I think we’re all done with the KT experience. Play him at RB or don’t play him at all,” Schwartz tweeted.

Toney has come under fire the past couple of weeks for his mistakes on the field, and it seems like a matter of time until Andy Reid is forced to bench him.

The wideout was also responsible for an offsides penalty that wiped out a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

With Kansas City’s offense struggling to score as much as it has this year, the team can’t afford any more mistakes from Toney who has to be on thin ice.
