The Detroit Lions are a team with a potentially bright future ahead under head coach Dan Campbell who has changed the franchise’s culture while inspiring his players to strive for more.
The Lions finished last season with a winning record of 9-8, and even though the team came just short of a playoff spot, Detroit turned a lot of heads and could be a dark horse in the NFC to make a lot of noise in 2023.
During the NFL offseason, the Lions have done a good job of bringing in talent and filling voids on both sides of the football.
Currently, the team seems to be focusing on bolstering the quarterback position behind Pro Bowler Jared Goff, with the team reportedly having sent a solid offer to veteran Teddy Bridgewater, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

After making a name for himself in the NFC North with the Minnesota Vikings in his first two seasons in the league, Bridgewater has bounced around the NFL due to persistent injury issues.
Bridgewater has gone from a promising young starter to a career backup, and if he signs with the Lions before the 2023 NFL season, it will be his sixth team in nine years.
The one-time Pro Bowler would be a welcome addition to a Lions team that appears to be on the rise, as he’d bring some insurance behind Goff and a lot of experience and veteran knowledge to the quarterback room in Detroit.
Bridgewater is in no rush to sign with a team, but Detroit has to be an intriguing option.
