Professional athletes often struggle to end their careers.

After all, they have spent their entire lives trying to be the best they can be at a certain sport, but there is a time when their journey comes to an end.

Athletes are stuck trying to find meaning in their lives after retirement, with many becoming analysts, broadcasters, podcasters, or coaches.

Others try to make a comeback after they have been away from the sport for a few years, which appears to be the case with Danny Green.

Green is a longtime NBA veteran, playing for six different teams throughout his career.

Despite only playing in two games last year for the Philadelphia 76ers, he still believes he can contribute to a roster.

As Green told reporter Blake Holland of Valley Central News, “I would love to come back if I had the opportunity. I have not officially retired. There’s free agency going on right now, and my phone lines are open.”

Danny Green says he’s open to a NBA comeback:

Green has felt what it’s like to be away from the game for the past several months and doesn’t appear willing to give up that part of his life just yet.

At 37 years old, Green would be one of the oldest players in the league, but if a team believes he can be a valuable contributor, they just might take a shot on him.
