Over the past five years or so, many NBA players and coaches have been outspoken against Donald Trump.
That has driven some of the viewership away, with Republicans and Trump supporters often threatening to boycott the NBA.
Now, one former NBA coach seems to have some words for them.
Former NBA coach George Karl recently took to X to call out the so-called ‘Trump Lovers’ for using aliases and fake names.
“Why do so many Trump lovers and MAGA people hide behind fake names and identities? At least be real and proud of what you stand for and who you support,” Karl wrote.

The often-controversial tactician stated that they should at least be proud of what they stand for and give their own names and show their faces.
There are more than enough reasons to support Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, or even an independent candidate in the upcoming election, and as long as they keep the conversation respectful, no one should be ashamed of their political views.
We’re living in some polarizing times, and that has often led to some uncomfortable conversations and irrational behavior.
As for George Karl, he’s never been one to mince his words about anything in the past, and he’s just not going to start now.
He’s unapologetic about everything he stands for and will tell it like it is, even if it doesn’t come out well.
