Athletes tend to be awarded certain privileges that most ordinary people are unable to access.
Whether it’s special treatment at a club or restaurant, or when it comes to the court of law, it seems like athletes get away with a lot.
This was put on full display in a recent report shared by ESPN.
Glen Davis, better known as ‘Big Baby’ Davis, has been granted a delay for an upcoming prison sentence so he can finish a documentary.
According to Legion Hoops, “Judge Valerie E. Caproni said Wednesday that Davis can wait until October 22nd to start serving his three-year, four-month stint for defrauding an insurance plan for NBA players and their families.”

This is an interesting situation that has received mixed reviews to this point.
Davis was a polarizing player when he was in the league, and judging by the fact that he’s facing prison time, he’s made some questionable decisions off the court as well.
It will be interesting to see what comes from this decision, and what his documentary ends up being about.
At the moment, those details are currently unknown, but many believe that a documentary centered around Davis could be quite interesting.
He is only a few months away from serving his prison sentence, so this is his last shot at civilian life before going to jail.
Will anything else come to the surface over the next few weeks to further delay his jail time?
