On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Clippers took down the best team in the NBA, beating the Boston Celtics, 115-96.

This was just the latest strong victory for the team and it has people again saying they could have what it takes to make it to the Finals.

On “Run It Back,” Lou Williams said he believes in this team, not because they bested the Celtics but because they are 21-4 in their last 25 games.

“Since [the LA Clippers] have figured it out, this team is rolling and they’re scary, it really don’t matter who you put in front of them.”

“They’re just playing really good basketball,” Williams added.

Looking back on the last couple of months for the Clippers, it’s hard to not be very impressed by their record.

They didn’t get off to the best start and the inclusion of James Harden didn’t seem to help, at least for a while.

But after several games together, this new-look team found their rhythm and started scoring wins.

Since the middle of November, they have been on an incredible roll and have taken down teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, and others.

There were many people who doubted that the combination of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Harden would work but they have proven everyone wrong.

Because of their hard work and their stunning record, the team just surpassed the reigning champion Denver Nuggets and are now the third-best team in the West.

With a 30-14 record, there is a chance they could sneak by the Minnesota Timberwolves soon and the Oklahoma City Thunder too.

They next face the Cleveland Cavaliers, followed by the Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons, and Miami Heat.

They have won five games in a row – can they keep the streak going?
