Dwyane Wade was on hand for the Paris Olympics this year and received praise for his analysis and insight into basketball.
Wade is very proud of what Team USA accomplished but he thinks things will get harder in the future.
According to Legion Hoops, Wade said that 2028 will be very difficult for the Americans.
“We continue to keep dominating the game when it comes to gold medals, but it’s not going to be easy. This is not 1992, everybody needs to get that out of their minds,” Wade said.

As predicted, the Americans walked away with the gold medal in basketball this year.
That’s five Olympics in a row for the men and the women’s team also dominated once again.
While Paris was a chance for the world to be reminded of America’s powerful basketball stars, it was also an opportunity for other nations to show what they are capable of.
France, Serbia, Germany, and others all impressed during the games, and they are all only getting better.
Over the next four years, international stars such as Luka Doncic, Victor Wembanyama, Dennis Schroder, and Nikola Jokic may only improve their games, while the rosters surrounding them will improve too.
The 1992 Dream Team is considered the best Olympic basketball team of all time but Wade thinks their competition was much easier.
They came out on top but this year was very challenging for Team USA, as made evident by a few rough exhibition games and a very worrisome battle against Serbia.
Basketball is an international sport and this year highlighted that fact.
2024 was hard but Wade thinks 2028, 2032, and beyond will be even harder for American stars.
