There has been a lot of talk about the New England Patriots getting ready to part ways with Bill Belichick.

Belichick should be to blame for everything that has gone wrong with the team this season, as he’s been in charge of literally every decision, both minor and major for years now.

There’s no denying that he’s the biggest responsible for this debacle, and there’s simply no way to point the finger at anybody else.

That’s why it’s not a surprise to see the recent reports of the Patriots possibly moving on from Belichick.

Nonetheless, Belichick has earned his stripes and should still be considered one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.

That’s why NFL analyst Michael Lombardi recently stated on The Pat McAfee Show that he believes that this won’t be the end of the line for the legendary coach.

“People that achieve this level of success fall in love with the work not the result..

Bill Belichick loves working and the preparation..

If it doesn’t work out in New England someone will be interesting in having him coaching for them” ~ @mlombardiNFL #PMSLive https://t.co/EpkQS0PcU3 pic.twitter.com/ZrEYJTWCC4

He states that Belichick is in love with the work and the grind that comes with his job, and it’s just a matter of time before another team reaches out to him and offers him another job.

Truth be told, it’s hard to envision a Belichick-less NFL, and at least five teams would run right to his doorstep if they found out he’s indeed available.

Belichick could be to blame for his team’s failure and at the same time a major upgrade for several teams; both premises can coexist.

And as much as some might be enjoying his downfall, no one can take anything away from what he’s accomplished in this league.
