Ever since he retired, everyone has been wondering what’s next for Tom Brady in his football career, and it was always assumed he would get into broadcasting, which he finally will as he makes his debut in Week 1 this coming season on FOX.

One former NFL GM has pointed out what could be the toughest part in his transition from the field to the booth.

Former GM Mike Lombardi appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” today and discussed Brady’s broadcasting career, saying, “Tom Brady is gonna have to condense all the information that he has very quickly” and that “the challenge for anyone is how do they present the information that they have?”

He pointed out that Brady is going to be able to point things out that nobody else can, which is exactly what won Tony Romo over with fans when he started broadcasting.

Brady’s first game will be the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns game in Week 1 and fans will get to hear his opinions on Deshaun Watson and Dak Prescott, two controversial quarterbacks who have had mixed bags of results over the past few years.

The pipeline from the gridiron to the booth has never been hotter, as more great players than ever are transitioning to big media roles.

Matt Ryan and Jason Kelce will also be putting on suits this season as well.

It really makes you feel old when the players you grew up watching are now the ones behind the microphones.
