After winning a second straight Super Bowl title, the Kansas City Chiefs have shown that Patrick Mahomes’s era of dominance is far from over.

Andy Reid’s squad must be considered the team to beat in the AFC.

Even though the Chiefs won the Super Bowl as an underdog, Kansas City proved its resilience and the fact that they can’t be written off or ruled out when it comes to this team playing at a high level in the NFL playoffs.

With the Chiefs still considered to be a heavyweight in the AFC and looking to make NFL history in the 2024 campaign by becoming the first team to win three straight titles, many are starting to wonder what team or teams can take down the defending champions next season.

On NFL on ESPN, an argument was made that the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Jets are the three teams that could potentially take down the Chiefs next season.

The Texans have been arguably the most aggressive team in the NFL during this offseason, with the team knowing that their championship window might be open with star quarterback C.J. Stroud under center and the team being formidable on the defensive side of the football.

Houston has made some considerable upgrades, with the team bringing in running back Joe Mixon, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and linebacker Danielle Hunter.

The Jets have also been aggressive with some bold moves of their own, including signing wide receiver Mike Williams, left tackle Tyron Smith, and trading for linebacker Haason Reddick.
