The Cincinnati Bengals are officially back.

Following a 1-3 start to the season, Zac Taylor’s team came out of its bye week to get their third win in a row, beating the San Francisco 49ers and their juggernaut of a team.

Their defense and offensive line have performed much better as the season has gone on, which obviously helped a lot.

However, Joe Burrow getting back to full strength has obviously been the biggest catalyst behind this turnaround.

That’s why Dan Orlovsky believes the rest of the league is in trouble, stating that Burrow looked like one of the two best quarterbacks in the league in the win over the Niners (via Get Up).

Burrow had his best performance of the season to date, completing 28 of 32 passes for 283 yards and three scores, logging a 134.8 rating, and adding six rushes for 43 yards.

The Bengals escaped the Bay Area with a huge 31-17 win, making a statement and proving that they cannot be counted out in the race for the top of the AFC.

The former No. 1 pick had raised plenty of concerns at the beginning of the season.

He suffered a calf injury early in training camp, missing the entirety of the preseason and — literally — struggling to move in the pocket as soon as he hit the field.

Burrow looked far from healthy and was actually hurting his team, but he refused to sit.

Now that he’s back, the Bengals are officially a Super Bowl contender again, and they’ll look to keep this streak going with a must-watch Sunday Night Football matchup vs. the Buffalo Bills.
