The XFL has provided an avenue for many athletes to get a chance to play meaningful games.

For many, this is an opportunity to showcase their skills at a televised event, with the hope of making it into the NFL.

Recently, it was announced that a former NFL quarterback will have a new team in the XFL.

Paxton Lynch appears to be joining the San Antonio Brahmas, one of the eight XFL teams.

Lynch was taken in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

Between various injuries and a lack of on-field production, Lynch started just four NFL games, throwing for a total of 792 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions.

He was later released by the Broncos, signed by the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers, and was eventually cut by both teams.

Lynch also made an appearance with the Michigan Panthers of the USFL, where he started three games, leading the team to a 2-1 record in the process.

When the XFL began in 2023, Lynch signed with the Orlando Guardians but lost all five games that he started for the team.

Lynch has been credited as the only quarterback in history to be benched in the XFL, USFL, NFL, and CFL.

Now, Lynch is likely to join the Brahmas, who currently hold a 2-5 record in the XFL.

Even though Lynch was once a top NFL prospect, his career hasn’t turned out as many projected.

Will he be able to make an impact on the Brahmas, as the XFL continues its season?
