One of the more intriguing players in the game is current Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Malik Cunningham.

Not quarterback Malik Cunningham, but wide receiver Malik Cunningham.

After going undrafted in 2023, the former Louisville quarterback made it out of camp with the New England Patriots.

He bounced from the practice squad to the active roster before going back to the practice squad.

He ended up playing in just one game total with the Pats.

After being in New England, he was signed to the Ravens’ practice squad in December.

Cunningham played in just one game for the Ravens.

Now, as he enters the summer with Baltimore, he will apparently be changing his position.

As insider Ari Meirov notes, the Ravens have officially changed his position from quarterback to wide receiver.

The 25-year-old will now try to make it out wide instead of under center.

Of course, he isn’t the first player to do this.

Players like Terrelle Pryor, Tim Tebow, Julian Edelman, Braxton Miller, Randall Cobb, Greg Ward Jr., Antwaan Randle El, etc. were all notable players in recent memory who changed from playing quarterback to wide receiver either in college or in the NFL.

Some obviously had a lot more success than others.

With Cunningham and the Ravens, you never really know how it could work out.

Baltimore is a great rushing team that uses their wide receivers periodically.

Cunningham could provide John Harbaugh’s team with more versatility and ability.

If it works, he could be a real weapon out in Maryland.
