The relationship between any head coach and starting quarterback can be interesting because it is very dependent on the results of the team.
With the New York Jets and head coach Robert Saleh, winning hasn’t been their thing as of late.
Now that Aaron Rodgers, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, is in the fold, Gang Green sees an opportunity to go try and win.
However, there are people out there, such as former Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson, who believe the relationship between both Saleh and Rodgers might be a little shaky.
“Their relationship with the head coach Saleh, that relationship is a little shaky…Robert, just focus on defense and let A-Rod focus on offense,” Jackson said recently on The Herd.

If the Jets win a bunch of games this year, nobody will pay attention to the relationship between Rodgers and Saleh.
If they make the playoffs and beyond, things very well could be all sunshine and rainbows.
But if they fail to have a successful year, the media and everybody else are going to point to the relationship between head coach and quarterback.
This team, since Rodgers came over last year from Green Bay has not accomplished much because of Rodgers’ Achilles injury.
Until this team takes a snap in Week 1, everything that is said in the media is coming from a hypothetical situation because nobody knows what this team will be.
However, the bond between Saleh and Rodgers is going to be quite crucial to the success of the team this year.
