Could Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams actually pair up again?

The duo was together in Green Bay for eight seasons before Adams was traded to Las Vegas in 2022 and Rodgers was traded to New York in 2023.

But while they were together, they became one of the league’s best duos.

Rodgers won three of his four MVPs with Adams around, and Adams himself became an All-Pro wide receiver.

With rumors circling about a possible reunion between the two, former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver Plaxico Burress addressed the situation on The Carton Show recently.

“Davante Adams is not leaving Vegas. If Aaron Rodgers and the Jets don’t get it done this year…there’s more of a chance that (Aaron Rodgers will) end up in Vegas,” Burress stated.

Aaron Rodgers X Davante Adams in Vegas?!

This could be an interesting situation.

Which of the two players is more likely to go play with the other?

As it stands right now, Adams is going into the third year of his five-year contract with the Raiders.

Rodgers is more of a year-to-year player.

If the Jets do not have a successful season, whether that means missing the playoffs or failing to win the Super Bowl, could Rodgers make the decision to leave the Big Apple for Sin City?

As host Craig Carton illustrated in the video, the Raiders have no guaranteed money going to the quarterback position beyond this year.

In a different perspective, the Jets have a better roster than the Raiders do.

Perhaps Rodgers could convince Adams to come to New York instead.

Regardless, this will be a fascinating situation to watch over the next year or two.
